On November 16, Mr. Pedro Pablo Bonnassiolle, president of PANAMDES gives the term of the Deafness Region of Deaf Soccer where the classified teams receive medals and certificates of participation of the tie in the Germán Becker Stadium.
On Tuesday, November 12, Mr. Carlos Fernández, president of the National Sports Federation of the Deaf in Chile with excitement, kicks off the Deaf Soccer Region Americas Deaf where five deaf soccer teams from Argentina, Brazil compete, Chile, the United States and Mexico in the wonderful Germán Becker Stadium.

Una vez más, un evento internacional de clasificación Eliminatoria Región América de Futbol Masculino de Sordos 2016 fue organizado por la Confederación Brasileña de Deportes para Sordos – CBDS y cuenta con la supervisión de la Organización Panamericana de Deportes de Sordos – PANAMDES.
Se efectuaron entre los días 28 de octubre y 04 de noviembre de 2016, en el estadio Bezeirao du Gama ubicado en la capital de Brasil, Brasilia/DF. Este evento tiene como objetivo clasificar a dos equipos de 4 participantes (Argentina, Brasil, Chile y Venezuela) para Deaflympics 2017, que tendrá lugar en Turquía.
Los resultados de esta eliminatoria son:
El congreso se realizó por PANAMDES, Pan American Organization of Sports of the Deaf (Organización Deportiva Panamericana de Sordos), los días 5 y 6 de julio de 2016 en la Universidad de Gallaudet, en Washington DC. de Estados Unidos donde se llevó a cabo en el Auditorio de la Universidad de Gallaudet en Washington, DC. Se contó con la participación de los delegados de 11 países: Argentina, Brasil, Bolivia, Canadá, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Estados Unidos, Panamá, Uruguay y Venezuela. También asistieron el Secretario-tesorero de PANAMDES, Sr. Elías Roel; el Presidente del ICSD (Comité Internacional de Deportes de Sordos), Sr. Valery Ruhkledev; el Vicepresidente de ISCD, Sr. Chen Kang; el Director técnico de Natación de ISCD, Sr. Reed Gershwind; el Presidente de CONSUDES (Confederación Sudamericana de Deportes de Sordos), Sr. Pedro Pablo Bonnassiolle y el escritor del ISCD, Sr. Rafael Pinchas. El congreso fue dirigido por el Presidente de USADSF (Federación Deportiva de Sordos de Estados Unidos), Sr. Jack Lamberton.
Como el período de la directiva de PANAMDES se finaliza en este año, se realizó la elección de la nueva directiva del período 2016 y 2020 con la participación de los afiliados a la PANAMDES, quienes eligieron al presidente Sr. Gustavo Perazzolo de Brasil, por unanimidad.
